CHANEL 

The ultimate classic European designer, also one of my favourite designers. I hope to create a collection that has that classic European element with a fusion of Morocco. 

Although I love CHANEL my main reason for choosing this designer is because its a french brand and looking at Moroccan history it came to my attention the when France invaded Morocco the French influenced the people of Morocco and they still do. however its its a shame that Morocco and its culture has not influenced the French in any way. so what better way than to take elements of such a well known french designer and add a Moroccan twist. 

I will look at classic Chanel shapes and styles to inspire my collection here are some images I have collated I love the detail that goes into making these garments although this may be difficult i hope to challenge myself.

As you can see from the images above Chanel designs are consistent through out the years although the styles may change slightly that classic Chanel look is still there this is the look I  hope to create throughout my collection. Classic with a Moroccan fusion! I hope to achieve this by infusing the vibrant colours of Morocco with classic designs, doing this will create a modern fusion.
