Although I liked the fabrics above I was still was unsure on what to use. When speaking with my pattern & construction teacher about how CHANEL would influence my designs she told be about Linton Tweeds.
Linton Tweeds are one of the main suppliers for CHANEL haute couture range! this was fantastic news as it was perfect for my whole concept. I then visited the website and ordered a sample bundle including colours I hope to use in my collection. I will display these in a separate A5 sketchbook.
When my fabrics arrived I was best pleased with the quality all of these fabrics are woven in such a beautiful way. The fact the fabrics where woven made them look hand crafted which I really like the idea of as traditional moroccan fabrics and textiles are mainly hand crafted.
